Jagaran Nepal is a nongovernmental organization that believes in empowering women and marginalized communities for their increased participation in decision making process. The organization is committed for protecting and promoting economic, social, cultural and political rights of poor, vulnerable, marginalized and excluded communities like women as well as contributing in strengthening democratic processes of the nation.

Jagaran Nepal as a pioneer organization working for women inclusion in politics and contributing for democratic governance is directly working in 15 districts and able to reach up to 27 districts of Nepal including the most challenged Karnali region in partnership with local organizations.

In one hand, Jagaran Nepal conducts lobby and advocacy at centre level for policy advocacy by mobilizing critical mass, likeminded organization, networks and media as well, and in other hand it contributes to enhance capacity of the potential women leaders of different level and sensitizes community on women rights, governance and sustainable peace.  It aims to insure inclusive participation of women in political parties, state and social institution.Jagaran Nepal is a nongovernmental organization that believes in empowering women and marginalized communities for their increased participation in decision making process. Vision: A society with equality, human rights and social justice.

Mission: Promotion of socio-economic and political rights of people especially women and other excluded section of society and creation of critical mass for promotion of peace and governance.

Goal: To establish a self-reliant and equitable society, having caused maximum participation of the socially backward human resource in the development works and by developing their skill and capability.

Objectives:

·         Taking effective initiation to make govt. authorities, social organizations, political organizations work as per the principle of Democratic Governance.

·         Lobby and advocacy, discussion as well as interaction along with the regulation of Capacity Building programs for women in order to ensure their Economic, Social, Cultural) rights as well as CPR( Civic as well as  Political) rights.

·         Lobby and advocacy as well as Capacity building from grassroots to central level for the promotion of Proportionate Participation of women in politics.

Capacity building of marginalized community- women, Dalits, Janajatis, Madhesis, Muslim, differently able people as well as other minorities enabling them to lead the Policy advocacy campaigns for their sustainable growth.
